I never knew cats had an aspect ratio! Just shows that you can learn from YouTube.

Del can learn on more than one account here.

They are real engineers and they are real cats.

I have yet to see Del use a calculator successfully or hear him yodel any tune, even if out of tune. That proves he is neither.......sort of

AUWW, AAUUWWWW, AAUWWWWW, he shot me with that repeating Chinese crossbow he claims he has.

Hi MrChevy, long time no see.

How can you call somebody that squeezes his cat, while cuddling him until he growls, a cat lover?

If all those years ago the cat that Percy Shaw saw late at night driving in his car had walked away from him, we would now have all our roads lined with pencil sharpeners.

No good to any of us unless you want a sharp pencil of course.

Ok I'll mark it off topic then.....

Ah, you are saying even if people don't like cats, have no use for them, would enjoy watching the video? My cats growl/yeow quite often when I am interacting with them. They don't try to get "away" from me when we are playing that way, and look like they are enjoying it too. One follows me wherever I go around the house, comes when I call her, plays fetch with me at times. People who know us (the cats and I) tell me that I really spoil them.

But I make them growl.

You have a cat? How do you treat it, if so?

Re: An Engineer's Guide to Cats

I was only kidding of course, the growling was not that kind of growl anyway.

I have always had cats as long as I can remember. We used to take in the local strays as well as all my friends knew we liked cats. Most we ever had was five at one time but then the female persian gave birth to 3 more and that is where my parents drew a line I suppose.

We currently have 2 cats from the local protection league and they were abused when very young. Interacting is sometimes difficult with one and impossible for the other but that is only with me. My daughter can almost do anything with him. The one that I can handle often comes to us in the morning and joins us on the bed. If I am not quick enough when going to bed he would also join us in the evening but I need my catnaps so I have to chuck him out.

I would probably never have a dog but I love cats.

If you have spoilt your ferrets that way, you can always create new ones out of your cats by suspending it from the ceiling with a heavy weight on it's tail.

For a podgy ferret hang not longer than 7 hours and for a medium to well done ferret leave to hang for 12 hours. After 24 hours you will have a garden hose with fur and short stumpy legs so keep an eye on it.

once I captured some feral engineers (long haired EE), kept them supplied with beer and broads and got a lot of good work from them. They used to sleep in shopping bags...

They were freed by one of the broads, who was an engineer in hiding, and now are on public display in a cubicle zoo, as they had picked up too many bad habits by being fed twinkies and beer by coin operated machines to ever survive in the wild.

People toss them twinkies and beer and they do tricks in circuit design to earn them

The best way to trap feral engineers is to scatter broken devices with lines on them on their jungle trails.

They will find them and try to fix them, and you pull them in with the line as they are too fixated to let go the device and gain their freedom. for short jobs you can catch them, work them and let them go. They can easily be caught again...they never learn...

Due to lack of time in the construction of the 'Remote Controlled, from the comfort of my own armchair, cat bottom flicking pee shooter', I would just like to announce the arrival of 4 little kittens to the fold! Maybe the bag of bits and bobs sitting on my table can wait a few more months! Leon is a proud Auntie once more!!

I would like my girl fr! They are Persian crossed with Heinz 57! The mothers mother was a Persian (50%!!), who got hitched up with a short tailed, general purpose, bin shuffler! The end result was a mum who looked like a Persian tabby. I think the bin shuffler stopped by the other month under cover of night (and knowing full well the peashooter of mass destruction was behind schedule) had a bit of funky chicken on my patio, and from out of nowhere popped the sprogs who have taken residence in an old tropical fish tank! Unfortunately, Maggie, the mums mum got hit by a car new years day so Pip was the next in line!
