I would talk with a supplier of HD television equipment for your needs... Some one on here may know, but its a technology that is widely used already so make enquiries into existing equipment...

I think you will find it will have to be satellite based or line of sight microwave design to cope with the high bandwidth requirements of HD TV signals...

Specialised stuff.

John.

Well I don't have a lot of experience with professional HD video recording but this setup is supposed to be a decent one and although the price is about $30,000 I think that's not bad for professional equipment.

Definatey do some more of your own research though.

"...video from a professional HD camera..."

It may be my misunderstanding, but this sounds like you already have the camera. Best choice I would think is to see what 'plug-and-play' options the maker of what you've got already has to offer. Might not be cheaper up-front, but might save enormous amounts on de-bugging and maintenance later.

Welcome aboard from me also, please come back and enlighten us on the solution?!?
