Is this a regulatory issue, about the generation of CO2? i.e. chemical balance, or maybe adjusting airflow for better energy efficiency/throughput, a capacity study, or even creating an engineering presentation of existing balance based on current avaiable data??

Is this a burner air ratio? What are you using for fuel, natural gas, bunker oil, bitumen?

Usually a lime/cement kiln uses excess air, as the forced air is the heating medium.
