Solidcam

05/20/2008 4:33 AM

hallo

could anybody help me? I designed port with negative wall and now I need machine it. Program don't want follow design and still going straight down ( see picture ). I use solidcam 2007 and 3D milling. Between material and holder is clearance enough all time. I use slot tool same like on the picture. Where is angle checking for tool? What order I must use?

Thank you for all opinion and help

What machine? What NC type? What material? What size cutter?

If you get back tonight I will ask my machinists tomorrow if any of them know what you want.

I am sorry to say that our guys only work with Fanuc 3d and heidenhein 2d on the lathes. In our country you hardly see heidenhein on milling stations, most are Fanuc.

Sorry but we are unable to help you further with this problem.

My guys told me that they would not even know where to begin in Heidenhein as Fanuc was very different.

I know from my long forgotten past that my G** codes were very difficult to learn and none of that is applicable today either.

I think it would be wrong for you to try to approach your problem by comparing it to a totally different programming language. I am not happy supplying information we both know is wrong.

Have you tried the Heidenhein help desk or website for technical assistance?

Hi

You know, I am only designer but Ihave not problem with fanuc or heidenhein language because I make cam itself ( maybe I am not right ). All problem is that program not follow design negative wall. What program you use?

Thank for time
