Looking for an obsolete data sheet

05/25/2008 11:53 AM

Good morning everyone.

I am trying to locate a data sheet for a Burr-Brown 4302 ic chip. I'm not sure what it is but it is part of a circuit board in a machine that I work on. I have no prints for this board, and the company BB merged with Texas Instrument back in 2000. there doesn't appear to be anything that I can find on the internet. I'm trying to reverse engineer the print for this circuit board.

Thank you;

K

The part is a multifunction converter (multiply/divide/root/exp/trig etc).

I have it in a 1995 BB data book. The print is very fine, so I don't know how well it'll scan - or maybe I could try some photos.

Pin-out (std 14-pin DIP):

  1. X input
  2. Output
  3. -15VDC
  4. NC
  5. X offset adj
  6. mA
  7. Z input
  8. Z offset adj
  9. NC
  10. Common
  11. mB
  12. mC
  13. Y input
  14. +15VDC

Should be able to get it to you somehow. If no-one else comes up with a link, PM me your e-mail address (can't attach stuff to CR4 mails) and I'll see what I can do.

yes they did. I'm sure that I could probably contact them, and get something from them. but I'd much rather converse with the folks on here than a salesman (was one for 8 years, so I can say that). :)

Scans sent (as .jpg's). If there are any important bits you can't make out, get back & I'll either clarify in text, or rescan.

John.

I found a copy of the data sheet here: http://www.datasheetarchive.com/preview/353482.html

Good luck with finding a substitute to that one...

You have to find the Burr-Brown Data book Vol.33 and 4302 is on the page 5-109 (sorry, I only have the 33b...)

I have the same BB Databook that JohnDG has. Good luck trying to reverse engineer that thing!
