Also the more pure the water is the more aggressive it is. Water wishes to equalize (molecularly) with is surroundings. AS the 9's increase the more aggressive it is. 99.9% pure water is good . Then as you get to 99.99% and 99.9999% it gets much more aggressive. If it a purification process, you can get corrosion from that.

I think that your best option is to seek the services of a corrosion engineer. if you cannot find one, try a metallurgist who may know corrosion fairly well..................they should be able to explain the type(s) of corrosion, how and why it occurred and more importantly the steps to take to prevent further corrosion.
What you need to realise, is that before anyone can assist you with your corrosion problem many factors need to be considered - and really this cannot be successfully carried out using the internet.
