Please don't assume we all know what your abbreviations mean...

What is ERP, SRP, SQL and VB (I think I know the SQL and VB)

Just create a conversion factor to use in your BOM and you should not have any problems.

Examples Lb to feet conversion

Meters to inches/feet conversion

Kilograms to pound conversion.

They can all be built in your BOM

Good luck

Dear there would be seperate sections in ERP which could be utelised .

The design section - which gives overview of the component its specification, rating etc.

Purchase section- In purchase section there would be section for assembly, procured from external source, boughout items etc.

Stores- In this section you would be having the inward material , outward material rating which would be numbers.

Each section will have seperate ids and design section cannot be viewed by stores.

similiarly there would seperate id for boughout, manufactured from vendor etc.

The material is first updated in design and is sent to all other section and all other section would be having seperate screens to suit there need and they would be updating there part of work
