Basically, what is 'copyright'? Where does the Copyright applies? In purchase of 'product' or 'technology'? (Is this comparable with updating a software with later versions, provided by the original supplier of software, free of cost). Is it different from'patented'right? Please clarify if you know.

Right to repair can't be granted easily. Some time person may run into danger and may cause accident.

One of my friend was killed while he tried to repait laser power supply when it was off. These power supplies can hold fatal charge for several days and need repair procedure and trained person.

Small short circuit can make the wire to evaporate with bang and fire. This is very common when untrained person does a job. You reverse the polarity of electrolytic capacitor and it gives bang of a nuke.

Get trained and learn to do things safety.

One can learn slowly, and carefully. After all you have 20000 days for learning in life. What is a hurry. Call expert if you feel it is not what you know.
