What result did the test-piece give when subjected to forces in the test machine?

Concrete will have a safe strength from that result, which is going to be a percentage of the yield strength. If the abbreviation 'cft' means 'cubic foot', then the 3" high concrete covers 4sq.ft. The rest is just number-crunching.

A couple of things to consider, how is the concrete supported. And what is the width of the cross section and span that must support the load. How is the load distributed.

What was the compressive strength of the concrete (at a minimum), if possible what was the flexural strength.
