conection between immobilizer and the head computer of the car

06/23/2008 2:09 PM

Hi-I took a hyundai gates from the company that I'm employed, after I pushed the numbers butons of the immobilizer, instead of 2 short buzzings and one long, I heard only 2 short buzzings and the engine didn't start, after several times of pushing the immobilizers butons the engine started, but after a 10 minutes drive it stopped, then I discovered that water is boiling because the pump was spoiled!

My question: can it be that a sensor on the pump transmited to the immobilizer that something is wrong with the engine?

A modern car that is not on speaking terms with the driver!

It would be possible but it is much more appropriate to have indicating LED's or a LCD message panel.
