hi Del,

Confuscist must have had something to say about motorbikes!!!!!

Me thinks........... man who ride motorbike............only temporary citizen!

Graphic example of this.............

I believe the main cause of this accident was excessive speed............clearly evident in the bottom picture.

Actually that is a far kewler bike. It is a Brough-Superior. Each and every one was hand built to order. Kind of like Rolls-Royces used to be. Worth well over $100,000.00. Lawrence of Arabia had one (died on it). They would do well over 100mph, at a time when cars topped out at 40-50.

Verrry nice. The nice thing about bikes is everything on them is out there is see. I've been to auto shows where the doors and hood are all closed. Paint jobs are nice but I'm more interested in the mechanics. Thanks for the pictures.

Well, yes and no. Up untill the early 1980's Harley's had open chain oiling. So it is really not a "leak" but and controlled drip on the drive chain........My Panhead has a late style oil pump and an "O-Ring" chain and it does not leak one drop! Ever........:)
