tyre comparison

Hi-does anyone know what is rolling resistance for the same air pressure compared high way tyre to atv tyres?

I still believe the same as last time this was asked...
The road tyre (especially one designd for high mileage or a cheap one) will have less RR.
The cheaper the better...no grip but the damn things last for ever..I once had some Polish tyres..I reckon they were made out of Bakelite...put 'em on the back wheels, 'cos I couldn't steer with 'em on the front... Oh boy those suckers lasted.

Bakelite, We have to be older than the dirt in my backyard to remember Bakelite.

Bakelite is great stuff, albeit not for tires, however I'd bet they would work great in 2 ft of snow!

Ah, that might be a good thread, what do they call Bakelite now, and did you have to google it to find out what it is?

Its still called Bakelite, but its been replaced by all these fancy new plastics.

And I've no idea how old the dirt is in your back yard... I only have the freshest dirt bought from Harrods applied to my backyard
