ORIFICE PLATE CALCULATION

Hi there, how to calculate orifice plate bore dia. or what kind of software using for orifice plate. and where to buy.? any one can help please.

line size : 6 inch

fluid: liquid

flow full scale: 210 m3/hr

diff. press.: 386.9

Oper. press.: 589 kpag

Oper. temp.: 30 deg C

Viscosity : 0.25 cP

Try using ISO 5167 pt 1/2

u can develop ur own worksheet without the need for software, the formulas and method used are simple and in si/mass units

You can buy ISO 5167 online from ISO. Just search for 5167 and you will find it. There are also some programs that will do the calculations for you such as FlowCalc orifice calculation program
