My first Supercomputer

09/14/2006 1:14 PM

Bloggingstock is running an interview with two guys that built a virtual supercomputer for stock picking, in a similar architecture to NASA's SETI@home. They brought cheap PCs, and recruited all their friends PCs, and bam – their very own supercomputer with thousands of CPUs. It sounds so easy. Maybe I should build my own supercomputer for finding prosperous dates :)

Apu: Could it be used for dating?
Frink: Well, theoretically, yes. But the computer matches would
be so perfect as to eliminate the thrill of romantic
conquest. Mw-hurgn-whey.
