Try Tinycad. Find it at tinycad. it is easy and errr... just great !

try Eagle (also Linux, more free), ExpressPCB, gEDA (Linux, hard to install)

There are several versions of SPICE available on the web. Just Google SPICE. This was the standard design tool used for years. It has a user interface that has to be learned the hard way but gives great results. It actually forms the "engine" for most of the new graphical circuit simulators. Most manufacturers have component models designed for SPICE available for free download.
