Non woven web thichness inspection

Hi Folks,

I need to inspect the thickess of a non woven web,running on a conveyor. Which method do you think,is the best way for checking the thickess of the non-woven web?

There are two conditions for checking the thickness , one is by thickness gauge as below, 2nd is by weight gauge.

2nd one might be this kind of weight gauge, cut the round (according to the standard requirement of diameter), put on the weight balance and it will convert to g/m2 automatically to see if it matches the Quality requires. Non-Woven web should be definitely measured by the 2nd way.

Non-contact distance measurement top and bottom simultaneously.

Ultra-sonic or laser measurement from above. Depends on accuracy required, speed and composition of the material.
