Active UWD RFID Tags

07/31/2008 11:50 AM

Hello:

I am very interested in components/modules(ex: battery) in an active UWB RFID tag which could be applied to indoor positioning systems.

What components are needed inside a active Ultra-wideband tag?

Thanks!

Best regards,

Hi Gundamz,

I'd be happy to help you learn more about UWB tags. Why don't you send me a note at adrian.jennings@timedomain***nospam***.com.

Dear Adrin:

Many thanks for your reply, but by somehow, I could not reach that email address. I can only reply here although I would like to contact with you.

After reading through the data sheets od PLUS system, I am vert interested in an active UWB tag and the capability of the PLSU system.

First off all, I knew that the system consists of tags, antenna, reader and SDP. I just wonder what components are inside the tag in detail if it won't trouble you. Is your tag different from the other active UWB tag? What are the differences?

Secondly, I can not know the detection range of each reader from data sheets. If I got a 50x50m area, how many readers(antennas) are needed in this indoor scenario?

I would like to learn some knowledge from your reply or you could sned the information to gundamz1977@hotmail.com

Best regards,

Brian
