and? Is this a problem for you?

My Toshiba has the same for both, but if you do not know the correct password for your BIOS, I do believe that you have to take it back to Toshiba with proof of purchase.....its one of the Anti theft protections that Toshiba uses.....

Hello Nidal,

you should not need to remove the internal memory card. (Unless you are talking about a flash card where you plug it into the USB?

Let the machine cool down. Start as normal. If you still have a problem with the bios password try: 'password', or 'admin', see if that works.

If you get other problems a reboot is usually the answer.

I am assuming your software is legal? No offence intended you understand..........

Just turn the computer off. Let it cool down. If it is already cool leave it off for ten seconds then turn it on etc. Sometimes this problem can take a few tries until it does start again and is OK.

Did you have any CD in the machine when it shut down as this can cause problems.

If the over-heating is the problem in this case I would buy a little platform which stands on your desk and has fans in it and so keeps the laptop cooler.

This is just one of many designs. Try goggling for laptop pc coolers.

stay safe
