Cable cost

Dear sir,

Kindly give suggession for the following.

what will be the cable size for 1600A Load, for this whether Bus Duct is cheaper or Cable. And what will be approximate cost of the Bus Duct for 1600A Load.

Cost depends upon local circumstances.

Sizing can be carried out using British Standard 7671.

1600A would be a big "freaking" cable. In all probability terminating it to the equipment would prove problematic at best. I'd go with bus.
