Check SquareD or Grainger.

Hello Guest,

Look up a few power poles, then when you see the correct sized one, you have found it.

That Question was simple to answer.

Kind Regards....

Square D, Eaton-Cutler Hammer, General Electric - they should all have something that will meet your requirements.

Sola/Hevi-Duty makes a 480V x 240V 6KVA part HT5F6AS - a few KVA more than necessary, but we like to engineer with future growth in mind in the USA. My company put in a 2000 amp service to the plant in 1990, and we still haven't gone over 650 amps use, but, hey, we're ready for growth.

One note about the HT5F6AS (the same is true of competitors). The standard 3ph kva sizes run 3, 6, 9, 15. You will not find a 4kva on the market. The standard is 480v delta primary (with taps), 240v delta secondary with a 120v center tap. The transformer is designed for 480 to 240 if you put 460v in, you will get 230v out (115v ct) but the secondary will need to be derated because you are limted to the 240v current on the secondary side. After deration the actual kva capacity will be 5.75kva.

6000 / 240 =25 / 1.732= 14.43a secondary current rating

14.43 * 230 *1.732= 5749.99 actual kva capacity when used for 460 to 230v transformer.
