The first truth is that there is nothing like the Bramoda triangle (that I know in any case).

The second is that if you Google for "Bermuda+triangle" you will find a lot of info and you can judge for yourselves.

In SA our magnetic declination is about 17 and it is constantly changing but it is fairly uniform at a given time.

At the Bermuda triangle the declination seems to be stable but changes from 0 next to the mainland to more than 10 at the other point.

Getting lost may be easy if one then have to navigate across it by compass only.

And then there is this drain plug on the equator with the poor Coriolis not knowing in which direction to spin the water.

You want information about Bramoda Triangle (as in your thread title) or Bromoda Triangle, as in your matter text or Burmuda Triangle as JDRETIRED say.

None of such thing exists on this planet.

OH!, there is some place Bermuda Triangle on the planet. If you wish to know something about it, go online and google or go on http://www.blackle.com/ and search

Hi guest. Bermuda triangle is a long story full of legends, exaggerations and Sci Fi.

My modest opinion is that, first of all, is a matter of statistics: there are sooo many ships and airplanes travelling along this area and it makes sense that many accidents, also, happen there. Second, the weather phenomena are often intense (and sometimes extreme) in this area (hurricanes, strong storms e.t.c). So, weather makes things even worse. Maybe there are some other things more complex (and even unexplained). Hendric said sth about instabilities of the magnetic field (it's true that the magnetic field is not always uniform and stable everywhere on Earth... maybe such anomalies exist in this area...) [There is, also, a (not proven) theory about emissions of gasses from the bottom of the ocean. These gasses (when they reach the surphase of the sea) can cause dilution of the water and the sinking of boats (or can even cause the fall of airplanes). I think that this theory is exaggerated though.]

I wish that you would read the official report from the US Navy concerning The Flight 19 incident, and the follow up measures that were taken to find them.
