cable diameter

i want to calculate the diameter of 132kv xlpe cable

conductor diameter=34mm

conductor screen thickness 1.1mm

insulation thickness 13mm

insulation screen thickness 1mm

metalic sheath thickness 2.6mm

anti corrosion layer thickness 0.2mm

oversheath thickness 4.2/6mm

You have all the necessary information needed.

Try drawing a picture of your cable using the data you have supplied to get a clearer idea, then add up the thicknesses. Alternatively look at the data sheet for the cable overall diameter.

If all else fails, ask your secretary.

add all but the conductor diameter together, multiply times 2, add conductor diameter, there's your answer.
