Kempe's Yearbook

08/24/2008 9:32 PM

Anybody out there has any idea on obtaining this Bible for F.O.C or nearest offer? I need to have one too, anyone willing enough to share an older edition of his/her. Need your assistance.

Thanks.

My copy is dated 1970, I wouldn't be an engineer without it.

What is Kempe's? I'm not familiar with it; we have other standards in the US, but I've seen several reference to this one in the recent posts.

TVP45, thanks!

Okay...whats actually being sought for is the ENGINEERS BIBLE.....UK has it as Kempe's Engineering Yearbook. I googled it but keep finding it only in the UK.

I wonder what its Equivalents are in other countries/regions....

Mate, which standard in the US is commonly used?

Hubert

We have several, but not one real bible that I know of.

For mechanicals, Marks Standard Handbook for Mechanical Engineers is about the universal choice.

For EEs, there is Fink and Beatty, Dorf, and ?

Then there are sort of universal ones like Eshbach's Handbook of Engineering Fundamentals and my favorite, Souders The Engineer's Companion

Then, there's that great civil engineering handbook, You Can't Push a Rope.
