How to produce acetone (dimethylketone)?

The easiest way to produce acetone is go to Wallmart. It's on the shelf.

Bob, the poor fellow can not become a chemical engineer by knowing where to buy acetone instead of knowing the method of production.

Has anyone has any idea for common reaction used for current acetone manufacturer?

That shows the cumene process is the most commonly used commercial method of manufacturing acetone.

Acetone is sometimes used in the production of meth-amphetamine from psuedo-amphetamine.

When you are doing that you might not want to buy it at Wal-mart cause it could be noticed if you are buying large quantities regularly.

Hope this is not the case with "dark", perhaps someone will be so kind as to check and see. Making Acetone is inherently dangerous for students. Wouldn't want "dark" to make any mistakes.

I know a way that you can produce Aceton in indusrtial production. Its name is Keyooman procces.( keyoman is Phenyl iso-propyl C6H5-CH(CH3)2 )

It uses in industry for produces of Phenol and Aceton.It is useful way in high efficiency.

Wow man, all these other ways are too complex and specific, they way i'm currently doing it is by Dry distillation of a alkali/alkaline acetate. Such a sodium acetate, which is quite easy to make (there's so may instructional videos on YouTube) then just boil off the water, and distill it by catching vapors and running them through a cooling tower and BOOM-Acetone. Hope i could help man.
