Assemble and packaging my product

08/31/2008 4:42 PM

Does someone know of a manufacturer that can assemble and package my product?

The product is small(100mm - square) plastic and needs a couple of other parts to be glued and push fitted together.

Also there is packaging of the product and distribution. Can someone please help?

Hello touchnturn

You would need to advise your Location and Country before you may be properly advised.

You may enter those into your personal Profile, then they update through all your Posts, including the above Topic.

There would be no point in my advising you of a New Zealand Company, if your product needs to be assembled in Outer Mongolia, if you understand.

You also need to advise what the article is, what type of plastic it is made from, and your hoped-for Country/ies of proposed sale/s.

Further information would also be helpful.

Reply here, with

Kind Regards....

As a result of an accident I had in April of this year I am no longer able to perform the type of work (construction) that I used to do.

I may be able to do the assembly and packaging work you need done. This is the type of thing I've started doing recently, and because it allows me the freedom to work at my own pace and schedule, just may be the answer to my prayers.

So feel free to contact me concerning this. I come to this website on a daily basis.

I eoulf suggest you talk to the people you get your assembles from. They may be able to ship you completed assemlbys. Or they have a someone close by and save on shipping cost.

Hi There.

Dependig where you are ,USA or Canada, our state Coahuila ,close to Texas is a good option for manufacturing, if you are interested you can e-mail me, and we´ll connect you with our local manufacturing chamber.

Sorry for the lack of information and for my late response! I was away on business yesterday.

I live in the UK and would love to get it assembled here but given the high costs of assembly in the UK I am willing to get my product assembled elsewhere. Can anyone give any idea of cost differences between the UK, US and say China.

Thanks for all your help.

My experience in this area indicates that having this job done VERY close to home is good, that way you can easily supervise it.

You might try advertising in your local newspaper. There may very well be a neighbor of yours that is looking for just this very thing, as a supplement to a retirement or, as in my case, to disability income.

There are companies using people who, for various reasons, can't function well in ordinary society. These companies get financial support from the government, and can be competitive pricewise.
