how to manage manpower : respectfully to be effectively.

how to conserve energy: use only what you need.

well the more manpower you use the more energy use, as man power uses energy. So i guess the solution is to minimize the manpower usage, as well as all other facilities that use energy.

You make a great point. Based on your strict interpretation of "and" meaning "both simultaneous ly" vs my more conversational reading of and as meaning "in both of" as independent events.

I am impressed by your analysis as it does point out first principle, increasing manpower increases energy use.

I was merely wallowing in my personal experience that if one fails to treat personell with respect, one doesn't manage well at all. Yours is the true "vulcan insight."

Pointy ears smiley to you<>
