Can you attach a drawing/sketch of this system?

For Hoist/Crane motor H.P calculation I have following formula:-

Min.KW=KMV/6.12E.

K= Service factor.(for application not more than 16 to 25 cycles per hour K=1 for more than this K=1.2).

M= Weight in Tonnes to be lifted.

V= Specified Hoisting speed in mtrs./min.

E= (0.96) raised to m X (0.99) raised to n

m= No. of pairs of gears.

n= No. of sheaves between drum and equaliser pulley.

Hope this will serve your purpose.
