What kind of crane? What is the error number? What do the folks at Demag say in response to your question?

Try here.

I do not understand why you cannot simply ask Demag for the manual.

Hello Ali Zude

If you contact the makers of the crane, they can advise you direct.

Go to: http://www.demagcranes.com/index.jsp

Contact them, advise them of the crane serial number also the error number/s, and they will help you.

Manuals: Two sets of Manuals would have been supplied to the original purchaser of the crane.

if you purchased the crane in used condition, you should have received the Manuals with it.

If you are working for the original Purchaser of the crane, the Manuals should be available in the Engineering Office of that Purchaser.

If the Manuals cannot be located by you, then order new ones, which normally take a few days, but you may need to pay for those replacement Manuals.

The crane Makers will give you good service, because they will want to sell more cranes to your area and also to your crane owners.

Advise your progress, with

Kind Regards....

Ali is the remote control a demag product we have demag dk 16 and 20s on site and the remotes for tham are Third party supplied even though demag may have supplied it as new. Could you list the remote type, model number, serial number etc and the error code. Usually if their is an error on the remote it is not the crane but an internal error with the remote or a communication error. Also test the frequency the remote is using to ensure it is not out. Check if any other remote control devices have been installed in the plant or nearby you may be getting interference from another signal. Frequency testers can be picked up at a local electronics shop. We use a "Gooit GY560 frequency counter".
