what is cr4

09/13/2008 5:37 AM

The "CR" in "CR4" stands for "cold reduced" or "cold rolled" and refers to
the process by which the sheet of steel was made. The "4" refers to the
grade of the steel.

There once was an engineering forum named CR4;
Their posting policy was open door;
So guests made useless comments galore,
And angered the registered members more and more!

I'm newish here but I would not mind seeing much tighter posting requirements i.e. no "guest" function and no anonymous post.

Its an engineering forum afterall, and one where lay persons like me are welcome. There should be no room for unaccountable tripe... blah blah blah blah blah
