Switching of Capacitors in APFC Panels

I would like to order for a APFC Panel.Just wanted to know what are the advantages of thyristor awitching over solid state relay switching ?

Thyristor Sweitched Capacitor Bank is more rekliable and fast but exp3nsive hance can be used for EHT ( 400 kV HVAC ) and above. Solid State Relay is used in Capacitor bank for 132 kV, 220 kV Substation.

The Automatic Power Factor Correction can be used for LT Panels only with automatic turn/off switch and relay. This is cheaper as we don't envisgae must PF change in case of balanced load.
