Hello "Guest"

You should be trained by an experienced person before you use the Orsat equipment.

Refer here: http://www.geocities.com/rainforest/5161/orsat.htm

Refer also here: http://www.pollutiononline.com/product.mvc/Orsat-Analyzer-0001

Kind Regards....

Go to Bacharach Instruments and get their catalogs downloaded on Orsat Analyzers.

or type "Fyrite Analyzers" in google to find their book to download.

You can also go into web site of Forbes marshall India - they also make Fyrite Orsat Analyzers.

What is there to operate? You simple hand pump the gas into the orstat(hour glass) turn it over for the fluid (Co2/O2) to pour into the bottom of the orsat & flip it back for the fluid to stabalizes at a scale to determine the percentage.

They then have slide-rule type calulator to give you the reading.
