welding rods

please guide me for use of welding rods in welding process

following elecrodes i am using for different applications. please suggest me for some more options:

1) ss welding - geka EN 1600 AWA5.4 E308L(E104 R 308L)- 2.5 DIA.

2) ss welding - TS 308L-AWS A5.4E308L- 3.2DIA.

3) MS welding- AWS A5.1 E6013- 2.5/3.2 DIA.

4) Low hydrozen - OK 48.00 UNITRODE-7018 E5143B

5) MS TO SS welding - 680 AWSE WELTECH 6013 AND WELTECH F14

Please advice me.

Note that these are just generic guides, and you should follow any applicable welding procedures or codes.

Describe what material you are welding under what conditions for what purpose. Then it would be feasable to form an answer. Telling you what welding rods do is a poor substutute for the direct application of expirience. If you needed to ask the question about the rods you don't have the skills to apply the answer.

2. see 1

3.ms/cs to ms/cs e6013 OK for root

4. ms/cs to ms/cs e7018 OK w/backweld

5.ms/cs to ss e6013 NOT OK use e309/e309l
