Hi Matias, please register so it will be easier for us to discuss matters with you. I am a former plant facilities engineer. I am currently a facilities designer. What would you like to know about?

Matias,

I Manage Quality & Maintenance for plant equipment supporting Data Centres and other IT related environments..

Once you register we can chat, I have a slightly different perspective to a production plant, but many systems and issues are the same.

Regards,
Sapper

Thank u for ur reply,

I am happy that i have someone to talk to in the quality area as quality is in all.

i feel like implementing a quality management model is not the problem. The real challange comes in maintaining the quality moves. What do u think is the major thing to consider and to work on, in maintaining a quality management move in any plant?

Hello,

Which condition monitoring systems do u find applicable with respect to average specialist availability and moderate financial ground?

In addition, which condition monitoring system from Vibration monitoring and lubricant analysis do u find expensive now a days and which is more applicable?

Have you tried this site?

http://www.maintenanceresources.com/referencelibrary/maintenancemanagement/index.htm

Also a Google seach for "maintenance management+forum" brought up a bunch of likely sites.

Leave off the Quotation Marks when searching.

hello there,

i am working on a case study that focuses on Condition monitoring system implemetation for efficient PM implementation. The plant is a paper mill plant with critical emphasis on having no down time as the market is demanding too much and as there are no product stock available.

What considerations should anyone take before selecting a particular condition monitoring parameter generally, and for this particular condition? And what associated tasks do come along with implementimng the CM mathod and using it for PM planning?

Thank you.
