	I had found that old LT panels have solid neutral link. I want to know why solid neutral link is used in panel. If because of protecting the neutral from becoming fail due to fail in circuit, then we donot have to install solid link. this thing can be done by solid neutral cable or terminal connector which protect the neutral from failing.

	Hi Yogesh Gupta, I think the neutral link acts like a connector. The incoming supply cable of Feeders comes from outside. The phases are connected to Fuses or breakers. We have to connect the neutral core also. we need a medium to connect incoming neutral cable with feeder neutral cable called neutral link.

	Soild neutral links were used earlier for fail safe neutral system, it is made solid because during fault condition it does not fail, if it is connected through a connector then there is chance of the connector links to fail & it is not feasible & advicale to connect to connectors. As earlier said solid links easy can be removed for testing.
