Have you got as already installed vbox but failed to launch this service on linux either you couldn't install it at all? Have you met a lack of software components to satisfy all dependences? If so you can install ones from your Installation DVD either visit site pbone.net for RPM downloading.

Visit an innotec site where you can download pdf doc for virtualbox. Read one thoughtfully. You can visist appropriate Suse linux community forums to sort you problem out.

If you succeeded to install vbox you have to create virtual HD (there should be enough disk space for that) for your virtual machine then turn it on with installation XP DVD at you CD-drive, install XP there and enjoy.

Vbox is a very good stuff.

Well you need to install VirtualBox first. Have you done this? Go here:

http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux_Downloads

Make sure you download the appropiate rpm, based upon your opensuse version and computer architecture. Then you need to install it using a command something like:

sudo rpm -Uvh VirtualBox-2.0.2_36488_openSUSE103-1.i586.rpm

Then just wait for the install to finish. To launch it you can do it through the system menu or I believe you can just type VirtualBox into the command line.

VirtualBox is great though. Have fun!
