pipe type

10/13/2008 5:10 AM

Pipe is of 2" size & 5' long. Sockolet is introduced at 2' .Should the pipe has plain end or bevel end & why? Whether type of pipe ends used depends on conditions such as Pr,Temp, medium, corrosion, insulation, pipe material, pipe class, etc.?

Of what material is the pipe made?

What's in the pipe, and what is its temperature and pressure?

Use plain end pipe if using socket weld fittings and use bevel end pipes when using welded fittings.
