Concrete humidity gages

10/17/2008 11:47 AM

I am looking for concrete humidity gages to monitor moisture in concrete bridge decks for a two year period of time.

Does anyone know of, or have such equipment?

Jim, Sounds like you may need someone to walk you thru this! Other response concerning where to buy the equipment was good, however you may want to consider a consult with a company that monitors projects all over the world after they have installed equipment.

The folks at www.matcor.com will call you to ask how much rain you got yesterday, after they saw the spikes in their reporting. These kind of guy's know when it rained, your humidity went up and your concrete resistivity went down. That's what they do! And they are good bunch of people!!

You can buy the equipment from a number of vendors, but you may need some advice on an optimum install and someone to monitor your bridges for you.
