Furnaces - Replacing Feed Chute Pipes

10/27/2008 3:41 AM

The feed chute pipes on one of the furnaces have to be replaced by an outside contractor during a 72 hour period, while the tap hole is being rebuilt by another contractor. I need to know will I plan and execute the replacement of the feed chute pipes.

Hello Guest,

Advise specifics and Site Location please:

What furnace? where?

Is it an Aluminium Potline furnace, steel smelter, cement kiln furnace, brick making furnace, wood burner, oil burner, coal (fluidized bed or other) etc etc....etc....????

Location is needed to allow for local OSH and Safety Rules.

Be specific please.

Reply with specifics here, with

Kind Regards....

hmmmm... think,,,,think,,,, So you need to plan and execute the job??? Thats your GOAL! I must think that you are in a wrong profession at a wrong place.

You should have the experience to this job.... otherwise you end up in weeks. you cannot absorb practical calculation of human skill in terms of given formula or words of mouth only, unless you have expereinced by yourself. Thats the way those project engineers & project managers are evaluated, with their job-execution results (by expereinced itself).

Please dont waste time with CR4 engineers! be precise and detailed when ask questions, please!
