Wanted: VOC Testing Lab

10/30/2008 8:42 AM

I need to find a lab capable of testing a liquid product to determine VOC content? I've been told such a facility will use Gas Chromatography for this test. Have contacted several sources but can't seem to find a lab. Would prefer this provider be located in S.E. United States.. Thanx Glenn

If your product's VOC content has to comply with federal or state regulations, one of your state's or EPA's regional labs may be able to test your product.

I company I have used in the past is http://www.caslab.com. They have labs in Jacksonville and Houston. Perhaps your material supplier can perform the test or supply you with data for nominal or no charge.

Good Luck.

Here's another lab for you to try.

SPL-Inc. is one of the largest petroleum/environmental labs in the country and has labs in Houston, TX; New Orleans, LA; and in Mississippi to name a few. Our contact has been Todd Beasley in their Nashville, TN location.

Thank You Very Much, for all the replies and information. Due to your responses I have located a facility to do this testing. The material supplier has given me the VOC information, however my testing will confirm their results before I promote an extremely low content product to my A/E clients that are submitting projects for LEED credits. Another set of eyes is a Good Thing ! Thanx
