Depends on the calorific value & other parameters as mentioned .

LCV - 5700 Kcal/kg= aaprox. 131.4 kg steam/T coal

HCV - 6200 Kcal/kg= approx. 120.5 kg steam/T coal

Presuming:

Q = 1000 kg/hr heat output

T = 179C

P = 10 bar

Tf= 100C feed water temperature

hs = 663 kcal/kg (total heat)

hf= 65 kcal/kg(heat from water)

Hv= calorific value of fuel kcal/kg

Fuel Consumption = Heat output x (Total heat output - heat in water)

-------------------------------------------------

Efficiency x Fuel Heating value

FC = QC x (hs-hf)/Eff.(80%) x Hv

Trust this helps.
