A Forced Draft Fan is a Fan/blower that creates a positive pressure, forcing air into a combustion chamber.

If u use a fan to force the air to a system to create positive pressure inside, i.e., if you mount it such a way that air blowing is from atomsphere to the system, then as per your application of the fan may be called as a Forced Draft Fan.

Remember if you put the fan in opposite direction, then air/gas from inside the system will exit the system, and will create a negative pressure inside, and hence as per your application it may be called as an Induced Draft Fan.

Dear Kanchan,

A fan can be used as Induced draft as well as Forced draft.

It means there is no difference in designing also like in their blades etc.
