You need to engage your thinking gear before putting you mouth or in this case your fingers in to action.

Do some work for yourself or do not expect to be fed by anyone other than your mother. (Please note that Mothers do not come with a lifetime guarantee.)

Start with Wikipedia and work out-wards from there.

If you need clarification on specific points by all means ask here.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ammonia

and more searches here.

http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=ammonia+synthesis&btnG=Google+Search&meta=

The schematic of the basic synthetic route is a lot simpler than mature plants that have all manner of subprocesses to lower costs and add efficiency.

I can't help but ask if your field of study actually prepares you to understand the process and design of a NH3 manufacturing system or are you just supposed to connect some cool looking symbols together. A poor understanding and subsequent design of this process will either (A) not work and /or (B) create a release to be followed by an explosion.

I hope this is only a drafting project.

As others said, I would also like to add which I tell any fresh face engineer. Start at the end (the goal) and work backwards. Everything or at least for the most part, will present itself.

Wow, I didn't even look at the date.
