energy meter ic

i want to design an energy meter for my project work

and i want to use an ic that will measure the power for me

but i want to use an energy metering ic packaged as dip

any body knows one ?

and where will i get a programmer and software to program it

there are lots of such chp and all packaged in DIP.

such as ade7753（1p）, sa9105(3p) etc.bewildring. you can interface micropchip or arm for your auto measure instrument.

we have many such meter on the market, some of them are wireless or access to internet for center control.
