+ve resistance calculation

Kindly share how we can calculate the positive resistance,zero resistance ,+ve reactance & zero reactance,If i know the resistance and Inductive reactance of the cable?

This area of electrical engineering is one of the most complex and usually is taught at the graduate level. There is not enough time or space on this forum to address it. Do a google search for the subject.
