Eddy Currents

hi my question is about a star delta starter aprox 280kw i have 6 120sq cables 3 are star connections and 3 delta stright forward. I also have 3 gland holes in the motor terminal box and 3 gland holes in the controler is there a certion rotation for the cables through the gland holes or should i not worrie about eddy currents.

Hi,

As far I understand the concept the eddy current flows in the transformer windings when it is charged. This creates vibrations in the core bolts. Proper tighteneing minmize the vibrations.
