Dual Display

12/02/2008 8:27 PM

We are currently using ELIWELL thermostat (chiller & freezer room) controller with local display on the control panel.

We want to monitor the temperature remotely also.

(PANEL SIDE DISPLAY & CONTROL, REMOTE SIDE AT LEAST DISPLAY Only) if any one know about this kindly advise...

What is the model of the controller, which have both remote and local temperature displays?

And we have RS485 port; do you have any RS485 REDADOUT display unit?

Kindly advise ASAP. Thanks

If You have rs485, you may use Software on a remote PC. this may then be viewed anywhere on your site via extra pc's

This can easily be set up and running in minuets.

www.modmux.com Specview.

I can set the screens for you.

There is an excellent solution for you, check out http://ipdisplays.com/

These displays can easily be interfaced and can run through any Microsoft Internet explorer (for I/O purposes ethernet or wireless router can be used). If you have an Intranet set up, you are able to also view the sign on other office computers via a small software interface. Signs can be seen from a distance, hence you may not need multiple monitors. The signs are also ready for lean manufacturing and can display three colours to indicate urgencies, or for example an exceeding temperature value in red. Interfacing may be done through a PLC or simply by sending a bit, or serious of bits to the signs, then using the signs internally stored info to be displayed.

There are many options for the use of this type of display, and it will serve many other functions than just the temperature display.
