12/05/2008 12:20 PM

does anyone know of a GOOD set of plans for building a wind power generator? I need a set that is efficient and reasonably simple to build.

Hi to who ever rate off topics to dadw5boys reply on this forum, for your great information that he reply on the same issue that i posted sometime last week gives me full information and supplier for my requirements of 780 kW wind turbine generator, they also includes not only quotation but some recommendation as well as design and installation drawings.

Sometimes we have to react and it was happen on me last week giving support to the queries and I'd been rated score 5 off topic, very frustrating.

Keep it up dadw5boys!!!! for sure this reply of mine will be another score 5 off topic.

I rated it off topic. I am glad you had success with Alibaba.

I just order 4 - 5 kw verticle wind turbines last week.

Well I figure the more people out there who get wind power up and running the sooner we have cleaner air and water around the world.

I totally agree with individual wind power systems. I've been trying to get myself into the position (time&money) to install a system myself.

Just be cautions of the 300 meter giants companies are building only to take advantage of the government incentives.

Greetings.

Look in Lindsey Publications Inc Technical Books

PO Box 538

Bradley, IL 60915-0538

call 1-815-935-5353

Christmas How to 2008 page 16

No. 2074 $23.95

It produces 500 watts in a 17 mile per hour wind.

If you know about how a venturi works you can make your area give you more wind by where you set the windmill.

I was at a Solar Wind show and saw one that the guy made from this book. I could tell by the design. The guy uses his all the time.

If we really want to help the environment we (engineers, designers, mechanics, maintenance, etc) should begin an open source design space to develop a practical, efficient wind generator and system for residential use.
