Engineered Plastics

12/10/2008 9:20 AM

molybdenum and chromium are the two metals are used in screws of extruders, IF PEEK an engineeing plastic of good temperature resistance so peek is sliced between these two materials, this is why, screws get damaged while processing c-pvc.

PEEK can absorb shock alongwith good temperature of 300 deg C resistance,

IS IT PRACTICALLY POSSIBLE!

Is your question "How can PEEK plastic damage metal extruder screws made of chrome moly alloy?"
