What is the difference between a centrifugal fan and a blower ?

That is kind of a 'touchy' subject - there are MANY opinions and definitions ranging from:

  1. Technically no difference at all
  2. Blowers have high pressure/low flow - fans have high flow/low pressure
  3. Fans are axial - blowers are centrifugal
