Webcam Recommendations

I have recently begun using Skype for communication with my daughters and their families who live at a distance. I can readily do the audio connection, but now want to have video too. I use a Dell Inspiron 1525N laptop computer with Linux Version 8.04 (Haughty Heron) installed; however, I do not have an on-board webcam and I am looking for recommendations on appropriate camera(s) to use with this system from people who routinely use Linux for this type of communication with Skype.
